Lift up shelf ....any available?

We would like to fit a small shelf at the side of our cooker. It would drop down when not in use, so will be hinged. We need strong hinges which aren't too big. Any idea where we could buy the hinges and the shelf.
I've seen one in a friends caravan, but not in a motorhome....
I'm sure you self builders out there will know how we could get one?

We bought our hinges from a caravan accessories shop and put a decent wooden chopping board onto them

Dead simple to do though and when the chopping boards a bit tatty just unscrew and replace

Hi,Try Amazon for the shelf supports I saw some there yesterday @£20 and you can pick up offcuts from a shopfitter/kitchenfitter/joiner/etc.

Stainless piano hinges. Ultimately strong and don't corrode where crumbs get trapped. Several here:

If you look on Magnums website you will find a lift up bracket that locks in place, all you need then is a piece of wood screwed to the top.

Thanks for this, it looks good and sturdy, but unfortunately the bit that screws to the wall is too long. For us, it needs to be shorter at this end , with the longer part screwed to the shelf.

If you Google something like "wall mounted folding shelf brackets" should give you some ideas. They come in various sizes, colours, etc.
Failing that, a piano hinge and a couple of locking lid \ table stays.

You can fasten the flap to the worktop end with normal hinges and then put these underneath:

But personally I prefer this sort of thing which are much stronger and what I fitted to our camper's flap to replace the plastic one above (you have to fit them in pairs):

Just been and purchased a kitchen door from IKEA (gloss orange, don't ask) for two new boom arm tables (following yours and @Techno threads) took the original main table out giving loads more space
Come in loads of different colours and sizes, we got the 60cm x 40cm for boom arm table sealed and finished all round so ideal, sure it could be used for drop down table all for £22
