I’ve been shopping around different insurance companies comparing quotes and cover ready to hit the road for our maiden trip on 9th March.

Have to say that the best quotes were provided by Lifestyle and they were also the most helpful.
Not signed on the dotted yet but I feel comfortable with this firm. I also got an initial quote for the car where potentially they will save me more money!

I normally go onto comparison web sites but to be honest it was quite refreshing to talk to someone! BTW I’m not lonely!!::bigsmile:

Do they have a proper Motorhome policy? Not wise to have a policy designed for cars as they often do not cover awning damage and damage to the vehicle caused by awning & fire due to gas equipment etc.

Hi

Yes they basically search the market for specialised motor home insurance if that’s what’s required but can also sort car or anything else I guess!
The quote they gave me was from Axa and the policy stated that it was for a Motorhome with usual cover for things you might carry.
Breakdown was separate but the package was competitive so seems fine.
Probably not the cheapest but they seem like a good company to do business with.
BTW I’m not connected in any way to this company

Promise I haven’t touched a drop! Got the company name wrong it’s Lifesure!!

Apologies

Have you tried Comfort, normally very competitive & if you need annual breakdown cover only £62.

Hi Lenny going to try them today.

They will be the last one!!

Thanks

Just had comfort call me back didn’t seem that keen from the outset.
Anyway apparently they won’t insure if the vehicle is being stored in two separate locations. I plan on storing mostly at a farm but occasionally it will be at home and I would have to call comfort every time it was at the house for longer than a 48 hour period. So I’m going with Axa MH insurance through Lifesure.

I've used Lifesure for firstly a Bongo campervan and now a Nu Venture Nu Rio. Found them to be very competitive and competent.
Also with AXA who provide good coverage.
Renewed this year & after telling them I had a Strikeback fitted they reduced the premium by a decent amount (thanks Eddie)

Being new to this its good to get some feed back as there's quite a lot going on at the moment!

Thanks
