Leisure battery used as a starter battery

Your views on using a leisure battery as a starter battery.

I have tested my starter battery, it's still doing it's job but looks like it's on its way out, I happen to have a spair 110 a/h NUMAX leisure battery that I know is in good condition sitting in the garage that I have no need of I could use.
Anyone done this ?

I have had a leisure battery in my berlingo for two years with no problems and only one heater plug takes a bit of cranking to get going but it dose it

Half or more leisure batteries are relabelled and reprice starter batteries.

My leisure batteries are starter batteries. I have a large inverter and 400w of solar so reckon my usage is more like a starter battery ie high current draw for a short time and rapidish recharge. As said in an earlier post many leisure batteries are just starter one relabelled at a higher price.
