I had two brand new Leisure Batteries fitted to our Kingham when we bought it, used, in late 2015.
80,000 miles on and the batteries are still working aided by 80 solar panel.
The charge when parked up in summer (no EHU) is around 13.5.
When out on 'tour' in say the autumn it drops rapidly down to 12 or even 11.7 and that is only using interior lights, no TV.
Based on this preamble should l look at changing the two batteries sooner rather than later ie before we set off to Italy in the autumn for 3 months

Yes, sadly, it looks like the batteries are no good. Batteries can gradually lose capacity, which means that they charge and discharge as usual, but can hold only a fraction of the charge of a new battery.

Your 200Ah of battery is charging OK and going to float charge of 13.5, but is behaving like a 20Ah battery, in that its voltage goes down as if it was a much smaller battery. Time for replacement, I think.

Really helpful thank you (y)

Sounds like time to replace but to be sure fully charge th and then turn everything OFF and wait an hour then measure. Measuring when one or more sources turned on can be very confusing.
