Hi All, I have purchased a refillable Gas it system, all is as it should be except the fill hose and bottle link pipes are a very small bore compared to a few of my friends installations, also they have supplied separate fittings (compression fittings) rather than fixed hose lengths with crimped connections as shown on the website

I'd like a heads up from someone else who has just purchased a Gas it system recently before I contact the supplier to query it

Regards Andy

Drexxer I bought a twin bottle set recently and all hoses were supplied complete with ends made off.

Its called faro pipe. Used by car lpg converters. Very easy to make the joints.
Bore size is often 6 or 8 mm bore.

Thank you both posters for the reply's

This Faro pipe is it the new method from gas it rather than supplying fixed / finished pipework?

Looks like they have replaced all the old rubber hoses with lightweight thermoplastics that you can cut to size. (I got the old rubber hoses last September.)

Looks good to me might think about upgrading mine the hoses are a bit unsightly at the moment.
