Hello, we will be arriving in Le Havre at about 10pm on possibly the busiest weekend (13th July) for our first trip to France in our van.

Where is the best chance of finding a parking spot for the night, just to get some sleep before we head down to S Brittany? There are quite a few aires around, but the reviews indicate that they all fill up early in busy times - even the mega one in Hornfleur.

No facilities or electric needed, just somewhere safe and fairy quiet.

Thanks :)

It’s about a 45 minute drive to the marina at Deauville - lots of space there for 100+ vans, so should always be able to squeeze another one in. Or maybe someone will be able to suggest something closer?

Honfleur is huge, so probably your best bet, we’ve pulled up there mid August in a 10m Winnebago and got a space.

It is just parking, but very pleasant parking at that !

Thanks very much parking will suit us fine - just checking that I wasn't missing something.

We'll probably try Hornfleur first, but the reviews say that it does get full sometimes. Fortunately we're only little (5.4m) so will hopefully find a place.
