"Lap" Seat belts!! (1 Viewer)

Not sure what section to put this in, so here goes..

Can someone tell me the legalities regarding, lap type seat belts ?

I have six seats, 2 banks of 3, the rear are the over shoulder type as with the driver and front passenger, But the middle front is only a lap type belt..

Safety wise not very good, but can they be legally used?? Must point out it is a factory fitted belt, and not an add on..

Yes they are legal to use but not very safe......................... but better than nothing

Airlines too!!!!!A bit of a token gesture IMO.
