Hi everyone,
Recently upgraded from a 1993 Hymercamp (trusty old girl but a little small for our needs) to a 1995 Laika Ecovip 6.
Great MH but needs some upgrades on the electrical front (solar panels, inverter etc).
With the Hymer there was a great community on facebook for other owners but I'm struggling to find that with the Laika.
I was wondering if anyone knew if these are fitting with a split charge relay? (EG relay that charges the leisure battery when the engine is running).
I fired her up and checked the leisure battery with a multimeter and it wasn't charging which suggests to me that there isn't one, but then again it might just be faulty.
There is a little box relay (similar to ones you get for hazard warning lights) mounted above the battery but I thought this might potentially be for the 3 way fridge.
Can anyone shed any light or perhaps point me to a facebook page or forum specifically for these vans? Had a quick look but couldn't find anything.
Thanks,
Harry
