Those men of ours are clearly not grown up enough to be allowed out on their own.
Yesterday mine went out with his best mate to 'pick up something' now that could have been something for his friend OR something useful for himself.
I was a tad surprised when he came home with a petrol lawn mower for HIMSELF!
What, why.....a project says he.....we don't have a lawn says I.
MEN.....untrainable, but I suppose they have entertainment value.
In his defence says he, it was free and is a Honda!

Hah, perhaps you underestimate him !

Possibly when you say "we don't have a lawn", you should consider "we don't have a lawn yet" !!!

Couple of years ago I came home one evening to find that my OH had bought a couple of life jackets off gumtree. Had some mad idea of getting a canoe so that he could go canoeing around the coast of Scotland with his mate. Warned him that if he did so and ended up in the front page of the Sun for being rescued, I would divorce him 😉

I have a garage with and industrial grinder, a professional band saw , a 500 litre air compressor and enough tools to fill a Snap on van three times over! Not mine stored for a mate who sold his house and is renting a house with a *small* double garage that is filled floor to ceiling with boxes of great quality tools! They are struggling to find a workshop with house attached!

I like it - he could do it up and sell it on gumtree

Also never let us men go into Lidl or Aldi. You can go in for a jar of coffee and come out with a cement mixer. Bought a nice torque wrench the other day - didn't even know I needed one :giggle:

Aye, don’t take them shopping in an empty stomach - doubles the food bill
Not an issue as it never happens, it used to when he could walk more than 3 steps, but I hate shopping anyway so visits to real shops are minimal.

He couldn't walk round them anyway.

more reason for the racing mower;)

SWMBO has banned me from Aldi as well as B&M, seems all you need to do is be rude and loud and she packs you off to the car, also works Tesco, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Asda, co-op, one stop................

Have you seen those electric shock collars that were used to train dogs? Banned for use in most parts of the UK Dc bought me a cravat the other day that seems to have wire running through ot

As I always tell the ladies, whenever they question what I'm doing/what I've done

"It's not my fault - I'm only a man"

Although, let's be honest, most of us 'men' are still stuck in our teenage years 🙂

Tis a Honda IZY mower, t'was free on Gumtree, t'was local & I used to be a mechanic at a large lawnmower/chainsaw workshop, all self explanatory ladies.

Me thinks I'll make over £100 for a little bit of effort in my workshop, fun, fun, fun, eh guys?
Wonder which tools I'll spend my £100 on?:inlove:

It's the same as a man understanding 'horses & horse rugs, tack, more rugs, feed, shavings, more rugs, hay, more tack and another horse, oh and more rugs'
We no longer have horses, but I still have rugs!
