Anyone help me with my faulty inverter?
It's 2000W and has an auto changeover which has worked fine for 6 months.
Now it displays low input voltage alarm although input is fine, even on its own voltage display!
Any help would be appreciated

Welcome!

A 2000W inverter can demand a lot of current from your battery.
If the battery capacity is down, the voltage will fall and cause the alarm.
The inverter is trying to spare your batteries.
You can't get a quart out of a pint pot; do you really need 2000W?
What makes you think it's the inverter that is faulty?
How old are the batteries, what type are they, and how many?

First thing is check DC cables, and the voltage at inverter terminals. Disconnect the inverter from DC supply, and leave it for a hr for the energy to dissipate from the caps. Re connect the inverter, watch for spark as it energises the caps on re connection. Make sure you eliminate any bad connection, clean, and the fuse is ok. If, after this reset still displays low voltage alarm, but the voltage at inverter terminals is within parameters, possible fault is with the pcb. Could be a crack , a bad solder, or swollen caps.

New Lithium battery fired last December. I’ll check the voltage at the fuse as I get the wife to test. Thanks

Allows me to use an 800W kettle and slow cooker all paid for by our closest star, my wife😎

Interesting. I'd not expect it to be a battery problem in that case. Seems like a fault in the inverter.
