Any ideas guys on a good kitchen roll holder one that can sit below cupboards or on the wall so it's off the work top appreciate any ideas

I have some string tied like a hammock between 2 hooks, not the most fancy but works. Have to tuck the loose end into the tube so it doesnt unroll when driving.

We used to have one like this in our last van, it takes clingfish and tinfoil too. Around £15 from Amazon.

Put it away in a cupboard?
We only need it once or twice ---a week !!
You don't need any clutter in a tiny kitchen.

We have a Simplehuman roll holder fitted under a locker, not cheap but great quality.......

Same as we have mounted above the sink, so out of the way, but easily reached incase of a spilage, and doesnt unroll whilst driving.

Amazon product ASIN B002SKI57U
Simple, fixed to the end of the overhead cabinet. As the roll shrinks the holder moved back against the cabinet wall so it doesn't rotate and unwind whilst on the move. Even better, as the cabinet end is against the PVC's sliding door, put the open (reloading) end on the door side and the roll can't fall out on the move, and one the rare occasion you need a refill, just open the door.

Similar to the above I think. I am sure we bought it from Amazon but can’t find it on past orders. Self adhesive plate as we don’t like putting screws through the cupboards. Adapted end with a nut to stop roll coming off when I rip piece off. Tend to put the full roll in the drawer while travelling though as don’t want a streamer of paper over van.

I have a retro one from the 60s/70s ... this was it in our Globecar Campscout but it's been in many campers/MHs, it's now in our Carthago mounted vertically on the end of the top kitchen cupboard, the elastic cord looped round the holder with a bobble pushed up against the roll stops it unrolling in transit. The only downside is that sometimes when abroad the rolls are longer so I have to 'saw' the ends off with my bread knife!

It goes into the pan drawer. When the Grandson is with us then we have two rolls - one in the kitchen area in the pan drawer when not in use and the other on the table for when he needs it. I've never even considered a holder for it!

At home we have a cheap holder similar to this one:

That's why I bought the Plew Plew one shown in post #15. It accommodates all the varying sizes found in mainland Europe. Mounted under a kitchen cupboard (wine glass cabinet in my case) and doesn't unroll in transit.

Yeah I know, I've considered them but I just LOVE my existing one ... it's been on many holidays so has 'sentimental' value! :giggle:

A bit like my coffee/tea/sugar set which has been in many MHs now and I would be extremely unhappy if I couldn't have it anymore.

Another vote for the one in post #15 by Wombles. Transferred to 3 motorhomes so far.

Showing your age methinks.
I used loads of kitchen roll and they take up so much space, so now I use blue catering roll with the cardboard tube taken out just take it out from the middle to use, I store 2 one on top of the other on the open shelf in the kitchen area works great and last for ages.

That’s the one I fitted in my Adria Sonic. Simple human as Brian icantremember and a few others suggested👍 it keeps a bit of tension on so it doesn’t unravel👍
