Help please.

how do you interrupt traffic messages that you don’t want to listen to.

depending on area you can get Welsh traffic news but be this side of the channel so don’t need/want to listen..........!

so how do you cancel the traffic message?

on our Golf you just either touch cancel on screen or right Side steering wheel arrow keys?

We have a posh Kenwood too - can't remember all the model numbers - but we either just touch the source (SRC) button or the station select button which cancels the traffic announcement straight away.

AAHH didn't know it was posh (lead a sheltered life)

This one has steering controls which seem to do nothing relevant at the time.

Just Smiffy suggested things to check but from memory (sadly not what it once was) the menu sysem disappears when traffic is on and a large overlay pops up that says not a lot. Ofcourse occurs whilst driving so minimal attention.

Sue is a technophobe. So may be a matter of sitting in the MH for a while waiting for TRAFFIC announcement in order to experiment.

Unless the witless B's put traffic on during Pop Master. then the issue we have is really serious
