Heading over to kill a day or two , anyone been?

Schloss wilhemshohe , and park , if you are energetic , as its a big area and steep in places . There is a big parkplace up there but can get very busy ! There are about 3 stellplatze in the area IIRC . Quite a while ago now The Grimm Brothers Museum is there but unless its a particular interest in literature , not that special .

Cheers.. we took a chill day here , but to be honest, it reminds me of Coventry, but without the scummers and depression , a few buildings of note but mostly concrete.. nice riverside site for an overnight with a steakhouse 4 mins walk. Other than that, its a bit meh..

We’ve just come down part of the ‘fairytale route’ and stayed on some nice stellplatz just up the road from you, trendelburg €10, cc62640. Beverungen €10 cc64975 and Hoxter €8 cc975. Hann Munden was a nice town but the stellplatz is just a mixed car park

We dont do stellplatz as a rule, but need to find a good site for 2 days so will look those places up.

That’s a real pity I personally think many stellplatz in Germany are far nicer than German campsites, the Trendelburg is new this year try looking at that 1st it might just change your mind

Looked at that place.. really nice but moved on to Bad karlshafen by the river.. sun is out .. beer is cold.
