Needs to be within an hour or so of Weymouth, so we can meet up for a day..

Many campsites are not allowing visitors on site. We like the Harman’s Cross area between Corfe and Swanage. This is a non-club simple site but says no visitors

I'm sorry, but I can't remember the name of the site, up hill from the centre of the village of Cerne Abbas. There are walks from there in a couple of direction. Don't know if it is open though.
