Hi all,
I've just taken our MH to a public weighbridge and now have a certificate stating that it is 3228 kg, this is with everything including the boss and me, full tank of diesel, awning, chairs/table etc.
All that is missing from travel mode are e-bikes 56kg for both, clothing(footwear and coats are already in), groceries and some water in the tank. I reckon these would takes us up to just on the 3400kg mark with a full tank of water and the gross weight allowed is 3500kg. Is there anything else I should take into account and is this an acceptable margin?

TIA.

Just ensure the axle weights are ok although you are under max you may be over on one or other axle and need to redistribute load.

We weighed ourselves just before Shrewsbury, everything 100% fuel, water, gas, food, bikes, people, etc... came in at 4460.

Really surprised thought we would be 4300, just shows. Axle loadings were fine just. Obviously as we used the van the weight fell away.:)

Last trip weighed ourselves just before we got home. 90% fuel, 50% water & waste, 90 kg of wine & beer. Only managed 3970kg still had 530kg spare and axle weights way under. Really pleased we went for a 4500kg chassis..

Thanks for the reminder, I've just read the certificate and front axle at 1561kg (1800kg max allowed) , rear at 1667kg (2000kg max allowed)
