Just returned from Stoneleigh

Weather was a bit suspect this morning so we decided to get back home from Stoneleigh.
So around 3oclock I said I’m off to the pub for a couple of hours
Returned home by 5:30 and my wife asks why do you need to go to the pub and talk shite! When you could stay home and watch tv with me!
Well I must admit it is much more fun talkin shite than watching it on tv

Show bits very quiet. Not many exhibiters and if you were looking for a van very very little in the way of stock.
The live music was unfortunately a great disappointment as the lockdown restrictions had obviously due to the extension period impacted on the ability to get up and strut your stuff. Many on Friday night had just stood near their respective tables and had a small jig and initially the stewards asked them to sit,.Towards the end of the final band the stewards just simply gave up. Saturday night clearly they had been given strict instruction to eject defaulters. The evening then was a bore. Left this morning as there was no point staying toes this evenings bands. Over all a bit of a waste of time.

If people had continued dancing after the council had been around on Friday night and they had returned Saturday they would have shut it down completley we just have to make do for now with what we have even if not ideal.
