Finally got to use my jump starter pack for the first time on our Spanish neighbours van

The engine battery was completely dead it would not even turn over

It started first time

Did it start it immediately or did you have to wait a bit before trying?

PS How are you getting along with your lithium's and the installation?

I've got that one. Our 6L Diesel RV uses two batteries to spark it up, but that little marvel provided the boost required. And much lighter to carry than the meaty leads my beast needs when jumping.

Does it charge up again via 12v socket or 230volt

If not used how often do you have to charge it?

They are very good as are the battery chargers.

Mine seems to hold it's charge for months on end.

Some stuff explained here, we've had a NOCO Boost for years, superb bit of kit.

I was a lucky boy and Santa brought me one of these; Noco boost 1000A GB40 for Christmas. Suitable for 6L petrol of 3L diesel. Hopefully I shouldn't need to use it, but a useful piece of kit to keep in the MH nonetheless. Always happy to assist others who might want jump start.

If anybody is interested in one of these, I should have 3 or 4 brand new, unopened ones available for sale as soon as covid lockdown allows me to collect them. They are completely kosher and will be priced well below retail price.

NO more PM's please, I think they are all spoken for now but will put on here if there are any spare.

Once you get hold of em, put them in the classifieds' I'm sure they wont hang around for long especially if they competitively priced. Good Luck

Looks a great piece of kit but the leads seem too short to reach the special jumpstart connection points in our Sprinter which are approx 4ft apart.

It doesn't need to reach the special jumpstart points, as long as you can get the + on its special place any part of the engine block will give you the -

What is the negative connection under the bonnet of any vehicle?, it's a metal bracket bolted to the engine block, nothing more, nothing less. So, yes anywhere on the block.

The Spanish motorhome I jump started was a coach built/ standard Fiat cab and the leads were long enough to reach both plus & negative jump points

Forgot to say it was the gb70 model I used
