Joined a club and even got a sticker:oops: does this mean strange people will come knocking at the door late in the evening ???

Now learning what “CL” means and i guess we’ll find about about “club rules” and all that, also reckon my membership might not last that long:LOL:

Having said that it did find plenty of nice club sites for our UK tour over the next 2 weeks, some decently priced and well placed.

Can’t wait(y)

If you've joined either of the two main MH/Caravan clubs I feel you are going to be disappointed!

Why would he be disappointed they both have thousands of members who must enjoy the sites and they have some great sites in some great areas. (y)

Only a part of the swingers section if you put pink flamingos outside. That’s the sign from what I heard

If the van's a rockin, don't come knockin
Probably cus you're trying to workout the pitch & person fees and throwing a wobbly about both.

Or

Could be cus you found a CS/CL a mile down the road 1/2 as cheap.

Just put a potted pampas grass outside your ‘van - a ‘friend’ told me that!
Hi.
There may be action taken against it here. It is classed as an Invasive plant in Evora Portugal..... Mean while, back in Derbyshire 12 odd years ago,a very nice lady knocked at the door and asked if she could have some of the " Plumes " off of ours.............A neighbour told me all about IT later !!. It was THEN i learnt all about it ( And the Plant :ROFLMAO: ) Planted some out on the grass verge as well later.
Tea Bag. ;)

Rule 1: Place your van keys in the salad bowl on the table of the motorhome parked next to you.

See post #6…….;)

I've been a member for 11 years so a couple of tips.......

Don't be shy when you check in - your site warden will expect you to negotiate the charge.

The busy staff will appreciate you handing in to the office all towels that you see hanging over the shower cubicle doors.

The clubs are very keen to maintain standards so be sure to hose down your m/h soon after arrival.

It is customary at night to disconnect the EHU on any pitch where the occupant has forgotten to do it.

Please don't do the last, know it is all in jest we were woken by john's CPAP screaming when someone had unhooked our EHU he can manage without it, but know some folk who cant. We now have battery operated machine but the thought still scares me.

Have to say that we had a pleasant experience with the 4 sites we used in the last couple of weeks. Very clean and organised although the ones that were C&MH only were a bit unhappy, the mixed ones seemed a bit friendlier and more family oriented but all were nice.

We got invited to a party night Chris said to make a good impression I should put a jacket potato down my shorts.
Hopefully we will do better at the next party especially if I put the potato down the front this time.

Used a few club temporary sites this year, absolute bargain and easily recoups the club fees with what you save.
