What are you doing on St Georges's Day, the weekend after Easter?

We have a few places left on our St George's Day Rally. All the details are here. If you want to come along just say so in the thread and we'll put you on the list. (y)

Its really nice to see the English flag flown high & with pride. There are far too many idiots trying to make English folks embarrassed to be proud of their background, breeding & impressive achievements.
Have a great weekend everyone.

No worries. It Just seems to me that Scotland, Wales etc fly their flags high & show pride in their national interests, but our English neighbours have so many different groups who complain that they are offended when a Union Jack or St Georges flag is flown!
I genuinely feel that English folks have become fed up trying to appease others & are getting up on their feet to celebrate their beautiful country like they used to do, its palpable & wonderful.

Ps: My good lady wife is English, a beautiful Buckinghamshire home counties lass Mrsambulancekidd

One could take the other view: England is so wonderful in its culture, laws, landscape et al that it does not need to fly flags to identify itself, unlike insecure nations.

Also flying a flag might identify where beautiful English lasses live, to be snatched by marauding Scots.

We will get a posse together to get you back Mrsambulancekidd - just send us a signal.

No need Geoff, as Tam O' Shanter discovered years ago....................

"This truth fand honest Tam o' Shanter,
As he frae Ayr ae night did canter,
(Auld Ayr, wham ne'er a town surpasses
For honest men and bonnie lasses.)"

Indeed it does Jock, I was born less than 2 miles from Burns birthplace into a life of being an Ayr ploughboy, I still live in & love Ayrshire.
Now on the bonnie lasses front, well I did have a wife from Ayr, but found out that more than bonnie is required lol. :party3::dance2::wink:

Happy easter everyone.
