Could someone please answer a few basic questions please, I have done the journey many years ago with my late wife so, been there done that but not exactly sure where 'there' was
So, can't remember the campsite name, ahha just thought Benicasim was it , wow where did that come from
Would I be able to book in advance NOW for two months, is the drive doable in a week or would ten days be better, and anything else anyone can throw my way would be much appreciated.
Thanks for any help offered, much appreciated. (y)
Okay so it is in Spain

Could I ask which route you took please, just an approximate idea thanks, originally from Newcastle but exiled in Yorkshire since 1991.

TUCANO recently came back from Spain and one of my stops was Benicassim, but I stayed over at camping Tauro.

But little Britain (Bonterra Pk) is the bigger and more popular site

Route to and from France for me from Sompot tunnel would be:
Jaca,
Binifar(cheap fuel)
Lleida
Amposta (cheap fuel and lpg)
Benicassim

Have fun

We use the reverse of above and use the vet in Teruel for worming it's just across the road to the Aire.

I am still in the planning stages myself here but will let you know what we decide.

When we arrived at Bonterra Resort this year. I found someone was plugged into my empty pitch. So he was having free electric, that someone else would pay for, in this case me. I think he was also running his aircon.

Make sure you check the electricity reading and write it down and tell them what it is, to check with their recorded usage. When you leave and pay you bill, the amount used is recorded on their computer for that pitch. I told them what I found on arrival but there was no concern, why would there be, they still get paid.

If you find this happens to you, remove his plug immediately and record the reading and notify reception.

We have been to Bonterra Resort many times, this was the first time we had come across this kind of thing. Just be aware, as each electric point is the same number as your pitch. It is important to make sure you are plugged into the correct connection.

What time of year?
You may be thinking of Bonterra resort, nice place, plenty of cycling opportunities.
You can book in advanced with a holding deposit that normally can be transferred.
Look at their web site. We are booked there in January 2023.
Spain is good for us although last spring the weather was rubbish so like many we headed for northern Spain.
Journey is doable in a few days as not much open in January on the way down.
