Lots now
We both had our boosters for covid last December.
I'm interpreting the requirements to enter spain are that you should have had a booster within 6 months and for France it's 9 months.
Am I correct ?

The reason I asked is that we have a brittany ferry booked to northern Spain in July, this can be changed to France but we really wanted to do more of northern spain and work our way up through France back to home in late September.
Thank you.

This is from gov.uk, I read it that you need a booster if your regular vaccine was more than 270 days ago … I may be wrong of course
date(s) of vaccination must be specified and your final dose must have been administered within 270 days prior to travel to Spain. If you completed your vaccination (with both doses of a 2-dose vaccine or one dose of a single-dose vaccine) more than 270 days prior to travel to Spain, you must be able to show proof of having received a booster jab. There is no requirement for 14 days to have passed between receiving your booster jab and entering Spain. Booster jabs can be administered at any time prior to travel to Spain.

I'm sure I read that providing you have been fully vaccinated (3 jabs) the 270 days no longer applied.
Sometimes I get a bit confused with all the information that's available

IIRC, if it’s more than 270 days since your last vaccination, them you’re required to undertake a test before entry.

The 270 days applies ONLY to people who have had ,
only 2 jabs, or
covid + only 1 jab- No one else.
if you have had 2 jabs + the booster jab the 270days/9month rule does not apply to you.

It never did. You were classed as 'vaccinated for life' or until the EU decided upon a time period. Which they so far have not done.

Only if you have only had 2 jabs. here people who had covid only recieved 1 shot jab & are classed as vaccinated, BUT If they wish to enter the UK or USA they have to make an appoinmet to receive another jab & certificate stating the chronology.

I read it as having the first 2 jabs (or one if it's a one jab version) and that if you had had your booster jab then the 270 days didn't count. So by my reckoning as long as you've had your booster you'll be OK.

I think I'm O.k. I've never been so perforated.
In approx the past 24 months I've had nine jabs: Four Covid, plus 'Flu, Tetanus, Shingles, Pneumonia and a squirt of Antibiotics, but I'm a bit concerned about my blood pressure.

That’s my understanding based on previous threads on this topic - may be wrong of course!

She seems to have jabbed her fingers right through his ear and is about to inject him in the eye 😱 Probably in response to some cheeky comment?

Does highlight the problem with the interpretation of different countries rules. Very recently we entered Italy via a port and the documentation we received stipulated you wear an FP2 approved mask. We entered the terminal building wearing our FP2s and were allowed out, many others wearing typical face coverings were stopped and turned back. Once outside no one including the Civil Police wore any masks, almost everyone was smoking and the town was very busy and crowded.

Just a heads up as we discovered yesterday that the vaccine cards they give you when you get a jab are not sufficient when going into France. Its mandatory that either a printed or downloaded digital covid pass.

unfortunately my ageing in-laws are not internet or mobile phone savvy (only one of them has a mobile anyway) thought their cards would be adequate proof of vaccination. Big mistake as 6 of us had to abandon (the rest of us could not leave them stranded) our Shearings coach holiday yesterday and were left stranded in Folkstone. All the information from Shearing’s requested vaccine proof only and did not specify that the cards were not acceptable! The irony is they have had their 4 jab and are more vaccinated than most of us.
