I'm stuck in. For the last couple of weeks I've been preparing this site for a big software upgrade and it's fair to say it's 'doin' me ed in' and have so much more to do. Come on, make me jealous, what are you going to be doing this weekend.

Jim, we had software problems with our CCTV system - turns out it was Virgin’s fault for changing our IP address - it ‘did my ed’ in so much that I left it and made a cake instead.

Now you of all people know I’m a bit of a Mary Berry when it comes to baking - this was the result ... I call it my ‘Cookie dough, hole in the middle, cherry cake’

Only experts can make a cake with a hole in the middle .....

Oh, and we’re at home this weekend, so going nowhere - so no need for you to be jealous of us!

We are going to one of our favourite CL,s in Banchory ( Greenpark CAMC ) on Sunday for a few nights, We haven't travelled far since Covid began staying within a 2 hour drive of home. Its a nice CL and cheap at only £14 a night with EHU , your own water and drainage on pitch and toilets, showers if needed, nice and rural away from it all on the outskirts of Banchory with lovely walks nearby.

We're popping down to the New Forest without the kids and going to a decent pub for a delayed wedding anniversary meal. Already decided on the Cornish rope grown mussels served in Harrow Farm cider cream sauce, with a hint of chilli and ginger to start, followed by Avon Tyrell pork, slowly roasted for ten hours, served with compressed apple dauphinoise potatoes and Harrow Farm cider sauce.
