Another 650kms trip for me tomorrow! Not in Max though, but in my new (to me) Kangoo. Everything is ready in it: Nice and comfy bed, warm meals, hot water in a thermos for coffee... and all you could think of for one single night in such a car. My things are packed for a week. I'm going to Rambouillet to look after my darling little grand son Mathis. It's hols and my daughter and SIL are both working... so Granny/Nanny, is coming to look after little cheeky nearly 3 years old little boy (My mind goes back to that horrible time you all helped me to go through when as a 3 months old baby, Mathis had been shaken by his childminder, bless him he grows up without any major problem).
I will reach my destination tomorrow end of afternoon, but have decided to spend one last night .... peacefully! No way I'd give up that extra hour sleep just because Mathis doesn't read a watch ..yet!
My daughter knows nothing of me being just round the corner in a campsite tomorrow night. I hope the wind won't be too strong!!
Who knows I might have time to send pics... if it doesn't rain too much that is... otherwise I'll be underneath my blanket laughing like a child with excitement!

You won't be jealous of me Jim. Self-isolating in preparation for a hospital appointment in Lincoln first thing Monday morning for a gastroscopy, followed by a bone marrow biopsy on Tuesday. All I can say is roll on Wednesday.

Ahh thank you Joy and hope your well sweetie xx , I've now had both ears cleared by suction which was painless and glad I went. £50 per ear and it took twenty minuets, very happy I can hear again as both ears were blocked, I still have a slight but constant ringing but hoping that will pass.
