hi, does anyone know where i can buy a 1.6m wide mattress cover from , i can only find ones that are 1.37m wide

We bought one from the Peterborough Motorhome show , and the sellerdoes all the big motorhome shows and is very knowledgable,so if you tell her what motorhome make and model she will more than likely be able to help you. Can’t remember her company name but if you get yourself to a show she will be there.

I can understand those who make a bed from multiple cushions, because of the gaps and seams, but for an island bed, what is the problem?

Let us all know if you find something. We have two issues. The shape and the thickness. Both conspire to make PIA. The bottom sheet slides off every night.

Can you make 'box' corners etc to hold it in place at the top like a fitted sheet, or adapt a fitted sheet to the shape you need by rounding off the bottom corners?

Alternatively get some sheet grips/holders which are basically long pieces of wide elastic with clips at either end which you use to hold the edges tightly under the mattress.

Alternatively get some sheet grips/holders which are basically long pieces of wide elastic with clips at either end which you use to hold the edges tightly under the mattress.

Hear Hear to the sheet grips - they fix to the sheet itself with the same type of clip - like a padded crocodile clip - that you get on trouser braces - Pete still has a pair of black braces he bought when he lost weight so his leather motorbike trousers kept falling down! - a lot cheaper than new leathers.

But anyway the sheet ones are what we use on our 'French' moho bed so a standard double fitted bottom bed sheet stays on the moho bed.
