Got SatFi Sat dome. It is locking onto signal ok, but when using the Avtex for the first time this year, it normally works straight away. However I am getting the “no signal or retune“ message. However when I press the AQT retune button all I am getting is EasyFind On or Off message alternating. Never ever remember seeing this before. If I press ok it just takes me to a previously tuned station which doesn’t seem to be tuned in. So struggling to actually get it to retune. If not me or the Avtex, it must be the remote or something has changed in the satellite transmission. I’m probably just rusty or missing the obvious ! Appreciate any enlightened guidance. . .

We had problems with our Avtex remote when using for the first time this year, we decided it may have been because we had left it in the van over winter & perhaps it was the cold. Took it onto the house for a few hours and it’s worked ok when trying again later.

Had exactly the same problem a couple of years ago. Weird! Told Avtex and they sent a new one (no charge!).

I saw some advice somewhere that on laying up for a period in the winter you should remove your tv. No hope with ours as it took me ages to put it in due to inaccessible screws.
I did leave a couple of cheap chinese walkietalkie radios in over winter that were totally non functional afterwards. Perhaps its worth removing the remote, although finding it again may be a problem.
