20+ years. Previously Hymer B654 and Hymer S660 both c/w tow-bars.
Times are tough just now during CV-19 but it does mean it’s a buyer’s market!

is it really time to buy though?

Who knows how long it will be before we can actually use a motorhome, but I’ve managed to sell my yacht (albeit with quite a big hit) and now have the funds.

it could mean I can buy better (or newer) than I could otherwise afford, or alternatively, get a big discount on one I would have bought in normal circumstances.

What do sellers think?

If you were going to buy a van anyway before all this started its a great time to buy, always buy out of season etc when cheaper and there's no better time than now.

The only problem though is viewing under the current climate, but you can shortlist and then view when restrictions are relaxed, the vans will most probably still be available.

I don't think it would be classed as essential travel if you went to view and/or wanted a test drive.

Or have a mechanic /garage inspect it for you .
Garages are still working.
Me ,I would buy another boat .

t would not be wise as there is no guarantee the you will ever use it again if the financial crash comes as expected. I expect at least a year before the government lift any restrictions , I will delighted if it does but there are signs it might just be horrendous with business going tits up and crashes everywhere.
