OK we've only had the van a few months and it is our first.

Since taking delivery I always thought to myself the rooflights were poorly designed in that if left open a strong breeze may cause them to fly open and get damaged.

On our first decent length trip away and finally getting some sunshine ?, read the manual and found they can be locked open! OOPS

Is it possible to read a manual?
They are either too short, poorly written, and full of disclaimers or on-line and full of hyperlinks without any start, finish, or thread to follow.
The roof light lock is very useful, by the way.

 We had our last van close on 8 years and as I was cleaning it for the lucky new owner I saw this catch and thought “oh I didn’t know that was there” (y)

If everything else fails read the manual. Although. At work we were told R.T.F.M.

After 2½ years I discovered from another Funsters post the reading lights in my van are dimmable.
