It’s windy here in Brittany at the moment. Forecast for next week along Northern France is rain and wind, but maybe a little warmer

Bear in mind ferry cancellations and the queues of everyone trying to get away to weather that isn’t actually any better, looking at the way that weather systems go...

Weather forecast in the south is looking great

Our midday ferry from Newhaven tomorrow canceled now on the 23:00 they gave us a deal on an outside cabin for £15. There is a fair possibility that may get canceled.
I think we will be heading south quickly, only problem is ferry gets in at 4am (3am UK time) and I don't do mornings.

It does make a very easy drive through Rouen at that time of the morning Lenny completely empty roads ;)

In Normandy at present.
VERY windy, spitting/drizzle in wind, but quite mild, ground everywhere is waterlogged!

Still windy here too. Southwesterly with 37 mph gusts. I guess it will be similar all across the top half of France.

Thinking of heading to Gruissan then on to Spain but could change we don't really do planning.
Do you wild camp near the sea there?

Big and rather dusty aire with a huge marina on one side and the lagoon on the other.
Great cycling, nice old village with lots of bars, restaurants and markets several times a week.
There always seems to be a good feel about the place and we always enjoy our time there.

Richard.
