Is Anyone Panic Buying Yet ?

Just heard on the news that folk in the UK are panic buying due to the expected extreme temperatures.

Well, the weather has been a bit extreme today. It got up to 25c when it doesn't usually go much above 22c normally in winter. So been I've down t'supermarket to panic buy beer and suntan lotion.

T'jobs sorted :)
It was on the news that the airport on Lanzarote has been closed today because of high winds!

But at least they must have been warm winds.

Just checked airport arrivals. About half delayed.

It's been an unusually calm day here. But it's been a southerly wind for a change so can be bad just 10 miles away.

Dead calm now.

What are we supposed to be panic buying?

My concern for "The Beast From the East" as this weather has been called, is that it came with a yellow snow warning from the MET office.

Won't be eating any of that snow!

You still have the best weather available virtually anywhere.

Never too hot in summer and rarely cold in winter.

We visit the Canaries every January and Lanzarote is our favourite.

Green with envy here.

Still got all 4 ?
yes and I am available to run my doctor neighbours to work at the hospital. both on call overnight this week. 1 in cardiology and 1 in palliative care at 2 local hospitals

Bill Shakespeare was right:
Hell hath no fury like a woman.
I was gonna add scorned to make the quote more accurate, but it's fine as it is ;)

We have a lot of white powder land on Canvey Island. The cocaine users are out in force clearing roads, trouble is they keep getting brain freeze
