Hi al
two questions
1. Do Irish/Stena ferries have promocodes or equivalent on Holyhead-Dublin route
2. is there any quiet and safe stopover late evening for a few hours rest pre-ferry
thanks

Stop in Holyhead on the promenade near the boat club, just down from the Sea Cadets and McKenzie Pier

Couple of places right before the ferry terminal. There is actually one right next to the gate entrance on the left by the water small car park...but can get a bit noisy with lorries at night.

Or as The Coops says

But...I overnighted once at South stack lighthouse right at the top of the hill.. Dunno how big your van is but that's probably 10 min drive away.
