Just arrived at Citie D'europe to find 6 Irish gypsy vans parked up in the Aire at Citie D'europe. Not panicking yet but I can hear 2 or 3 dogs barking in their vans. Do they use Pet Passports or am I just living in Cuckoo land

They are ok. I got talking to some on a site in Kent a few years ago.

The biggest problem was their smelly kids latching onto our daughter:)

About 20 turned up at a site near Paris we were on a few years ago, no trouble apart from the kids unplugging the site cafe ice cream unit.
Mind you we moved on quite quickly a day after they arrived as did a few others.

If they are travelling to the UK the dogs need pet passports

There were Travellers at Cite Europe when we were there at the end of September. If it's the same ones, they were no trouble.(y)

We stayed last week and they were no problem, I guess with police patrolling they would not want to draw attention to themselves. We did park a little further up the car park this time though:D

Come next year teknik155 they will have more rights there than us outsiders.....;)

& why they should now be barred from free travel into/out of the UK
Most have already settled here gus, according to Mrs May all migrants from Europe already settled can stay. It will be their Irish passport that will give them the same rights on mainland Europe...;)
