We're thinking of going to the IOW my brother is starting a job down tharer haven't been on the island since 05 to 06.
And that was for work we will take a few days to go down stoping of her and thare on the way.
probibly Bristol or around thare.
Ther won't be much chance of off site camping ther I know.
But is there plenty of camp site's
Bill

Best deals for the IOW are Red Funnels which include return crossing and campsite fees. We stayed a couple of times at Apuldurcombe Gardens which was a nice site.

Fingers crossed for a Fun Rally on I.O.W. straight after a Rally at woodsidefield.co.uk - start the petition now! Convoy!!!

We are in IoW now, the schools must have chucked out because 2 days ago we were surrounded by empty pitches but it now looks like a refugee camp.

There is one in Portsmouth now Bill. £50 each way I think.
The government-mandated charging clean air zone (CAZ) has launched today (Monday 29 November) in Portsmouth. Drivers of private vans, cars and motorcycles will not be charged to drive in Portsmouth, no matter how old the vehicle is, but they could be charged in other clean air zones in the UK.29 Nov 2021

I was wondering that as well but it does stop trucks and commercial vans that don't comply
It dose not cover the port aria and road's in to it as far as I can see.

Can always cross from Lymington
A few places to wild camp
Fort Victoria Country park, Military Road car parks, some NT carparks
But they might all be rammed in BC school holidays
