I have recently bought a touchscreen android for the dash of MH which we are generally pleased with although we do experience internet blackspots whether using the supplied screen aerial or the dongle so have reverted back to the Garman for sat nav the other problem being occasional loss of dab reception I remembered a post from years back by Scotjimland on a homemade aerial which I have just tried at home with fantastic results Im wondering if anybody has tried it on their MH and what the results were
appreciate any comments -thanks

Sorry, a touchscreen android what? Maybe just me but can't work out from your post what it is supposed to do.

Despite whatever the BBC says, there are still a few DAB dead spots around the country. If you get good reception most times I wouldn't be suspecting the aerial, but you do need a good dedicated one - a bit of wire won't hack it.

As for internet, again despite what the service providers tell you, there are still dead spots - we live on the edge of an international airport and the "3" reception is rubbish!

Personally I'm not impressed by these multi-use devices. I use a phone for phone calls/texts, a satnav for directions, a watch for telling the time and a camera for taking pictures. Far easier upgrading individual units than relying on a sole manufacturer IMV. But I suppose I'm a Philistine!
