So I finally got my van back today from repair. And then finally got back to Regal Furnishings in Ilkeston to pick up my new carpets.
I said I would update when it was all done to show people.
So here we are. My 2010 Bessacarr E660 on a Fiat Ducato Chassis with a 3.0 engine and that semi-auto gearbox that was giving me hassle (touch wood its going to behave again)
They did all new covers on every seat and cushion. Upgraded the cab seats to be a more modern style single piece rather than the separate headrest style. New curtains and new carpets in the cab and hab area. Also replaced any foams that needed it.
Total cost was just inside £3k. I think very well spent. All feel nice and seem like decent hard wearing materials.
The bathroom had a large wooded cupboard over the toilet area that all I could think was for is to hold 147 bottles of coconut shampoo. what this meant was there was a big screen to section it off to stay dry that effectively halved the shower area
So I took it out. Plugged the holes. Fitted an extra light and removed the perspex door.
All that equals a really nice sized shower now and less weight.
Oh and I replaced the wheel trims for used but original alloys.
Anyway. Pics
