Be auto trail cree
Hi
I was wondering if anyone can help I’ve got a VW auto trail cree and the interior lights have stopped working. I’ve checked the 7 10 amp fuses all ok but still no joy. Does anyone know of any other fuse boxes ?. I did change the fuse in the toilet you don’t think that could be the problem. If anyone has got any ideas I would be really appreciate it thank you from a really stressed out Marc.

And if anyone can point me in the direction of a user manual I’ll be your best friend for life.

How old is the van ? A few years I suspect being a VW. Some early models may have just had mains lights. If it does have original lights and they do work off 12v they will take a lot of power. Consider retro fitting new led strip lights. (y)

it could be the relay that cuts off hab power when the engine is running has failed

Tried the website no joy the manual isn’t on there and I can’t find it on the web for the life of me. It’s quite old but really good condition it’s a k Reg 1995 I think. I’ll have a look at the relay.

It took me a whole afternoon of repeated checking of fuses and circuits only to discover that I had a fuse that checked out o.k. on a meter but failed when current was passing through it.
Presumably the other 12v stuff is working - loo flush, water pump......?

Clean up your earth points. Check your battery voltage. Clean up your battery terminals with some emery paper.

Just checked the toilet and that’s not working either and now I’ve no lights on the control panel either. Checked the fuses and all ok would there be another fuse box somewhere?.

I would start with the begining... Test the battery with a multimeter and see what thats doing first.
