That's exactly why I only use genuine or top brand names for my oil/ fuel filters,
I am just getting out of the motor trade after fifty years and you cannot believe that people will try and save a couple of pounds by buying substandard filters,
Much the same can be said for using cheap oil! Is is totally false economy and will lead to tears in the end, and a big dent in your savings
