Lost Intelsat 907 a while ago & can’t find it. Used to use another satellite nearby lock on then manually make adjustments to get Intelsat 907. The other old sat was taken down & so I have nothing to work from to get the British tv in Spain etc. Can anyone help with another solution please. Just joined mhf.

I lock onto Hispasat and then manually click left a couple of times and up once to find Intelsat907

I used to use Hispasat but I can’t locate the satellite anymore, but you can? Thanks

We're currently in pineda de mar watching tv via intelsat 907. I locked on to hispasat and manually found 907 as dpsuk999 says.

It maybe your frequencies for Hispasat maybe out of date. Are you using an Oyster system? franknjan what frequencies are you using for Hispasat?

We're using an oyster 2 system. Don't know the frequency, as hispasat is one of the options.

Gave up with sattelites. Now use internet and film on tv.Also I am getting catch up with no problem,I player,ITV hub etc.BUSBY.

Hispasat is definitely still there I was using it last week to lock on and then it was 6 clicks to the left and anything from 35* to 39* depending where you are on the elevation to get 907. I think there are 4 sets of frequencies the Oyster searches for, if it doesn't find the first one after a full search it moves to the next one and so on, it can take up to 20 minutes to search all the frequencies, maybe the one you use to use does not work and you are not letting the dish do a full search.

You can see which frequency the Oyster is currently searching for by pressing the right hand tick for a few seconds and it will display the frequency. If you want to change which frequency it is searching on while pressing the right hand tick press the left tick. Remember the Oyster Vision II only has a DVB-S tuner so make sure you choose a frequency which is compatible with DVB-S. These frequencies are becoming less and less. At the last count there was only 3 left for Hispasat:
10890, 11891 and 12092

Germany is right on the eastern edge of the Asrtra2 beam, go a bit further east and you won't get any UK channels.
