The time came to renew the insurance on the van. The lady on the other end of the phone was more than helpful. Pointed out that I had stated a wheel clamp was used. However, she said the insurance could avoid paying out if this wasn’t used even when visiting a supermarket. Ok, Says I, if the clamp is removed from the list of security items what difference would it make to the premium. Surprisingly the answer was none.
