Hi
At the end of the month, we are changing from our coachbuilt to an A class.
I am aware of the screen cost’s and wonder if you kind people can recommend an insurance company that will cover it if the unfortunate were to happen.
Many thanks

Another vote for Comfort (and they have unlimited windscreen).

In a recent comparison in What Motorhome, Caravan Guard came top.

I called them and believe it or not they wouldn’t insure me because we carried gas 🤷‍♂️

Think the person dealing with me didn’t have a clue what she was doing 🙄

Forgot to add that the cover offered by NFU varies from region to region. You may need to call Chichester specifically in order to getA class cover.

hope this helps

Comfort came back with the best quote, however despite knowing the exact vehicle, the windscreen is up to a max of 3k. I suspect this isn’t enough. A phone call perhaps when they’re open.
Are there any more recommendations?

Just a quick update.
We rang AIB as they are only 10mins up the road from us. No having to explain what the van is, they know.
No having to explain what a CASSOA storage facility is, they know. No having to explain the finer points of anything, how refreshing!
Told them what screen and European cover we needed & no problem.
£286. Needless to say, we have gone with AIB (y)
