After getting my reminder and new quote for next year of £327, I leapt to my laptop to improve the quote, as nothing has changed since last year. Using one of the search facilities, my first quote came up as £936, the second quote was £6000+. For the moment I rather like the one offered by my present provider. When I stop shaking I may just try again.
