Please can anyone help.
We have a Fiat Ducato2018 Autotrail Apache 634,obviously its parked on the drive at the moment but every so often at random intervals the indicators will flash, one side then the other. Its really got us scratching our heads.Would really love any advice.

Guess 1 : alarm related
Guess 2 : its haunted
Guess 3: nobody knows
Any sensible/ serious ideas?

As above Guess 1. The Alarm on ours flashes the lights, when being set or un-set. Which would suggest that the alarm is the source of the issue, or the immobiliser circuit?.

I had random issues, 2003/4ish, with a very well known and respected alarm system. Had the installer`s guys scratching their heads, and initially blaming rodents?. In the end the control unit was swapped out and the issues ceased. Only needs a Dry solder joint or failing component to cause problems. Even the best, do have a failure rate, however minute.

BTW, have you checked the wiring for sign of rodents?, they nibble away at wiring insulation.

If you take the bulbs out, they won’t flash.:LOL:;)

Sorry!

Moisture in indicator stalk or control module.

Replace all the Fiat badges with BMW and nobody will take any notice!

Tina68 any joy on solving rhis yet? Was ir alarm or low battery?
If it is still a problem let us know.
You could try a few simple things like charge the battries both hab and cab or van and leisure and squirt the indicator switch with switch lubricant ( not wd40).
