Not much to do with motorhoming (unless you count cleaning the bloody thing out after a holiday with two large dogs) but our new battery powered shark duo is brilliant at getting out dog hairs from carpet and the seats .

the dyson on the other hand was a pile of over hyped pop.

just a tip :-)

We bought a Shark lift away a few months ago and its better than our 2 Dysons in every respect as well as being far cheaper.

I liked the look of the shark but Mrs liked the light weight of the Dyson so she won that argument as she the one that uses it mostly

WE have a Shark lift away and a Vax battery vacuum
We use the Vax in the motorhome as it last weeks on a charge

there is a much bigger wet and dry in the workshop too but that never comes into the house

Don`t have a "hoover". Our vacuum is built in and we have ports in 3 rooms, with a 30ft lightweight hose it can reach any part of the house. Huge 1.5Kw unit in the Untility, has a bin which needs emptying about 4 times a year!. If I put the hose through the conservatory window, it does the M-H as well. We first saw the idea in the USA. But it beats all the "portables " hands down!.

I first saw that some 30 years ago at a firm in bridport . Don’t see it around often though

We switched over to Shark vacuum cleaners about 3 or so yrs ago & have never looked back.

I have a Dyson (animal model whatever that is) which has seen very little service & its crap.
Poor design, poor suction & certainly not user friendly.

We went to buy a Shark yesterday but all stores and online sites are out of stock so must be doing something right?

It`s actually the second we have had, when I did my self build in the 90`s we incorporated one into the walls as we did second fix. The one I have current is piped through the bungalow roof void. They also incorporate what is called a "vac pan", in the kitchen at floor level you sweep up to it open the "pan" and the dirt gets vacc`d into the bin. Know Bridport quite well was one time part of my "patch". Palmers Brewery, one of my "clients".
