Imala solar wires, tell me it isnt so (1 Viewer)

The standard solar control unit on the Imala 734 seems to have wires coming from it going to the batteries via the switch the can be switched from position 1 for cab battery and 2 for hab batteries, quite normal.
As std these imalas come with 100w panel and a 90ah battery.
My question is the cables from the controller look to be only 1.5mm sq at best...surely that isnt right ?

no, you could be right, but Ill have a closer look when I go round tomorrow, I just took one look and thought jeez they seem small. And carried on inspecting the plumbing.

You would be correct in thinking they look a bit thin. Same on all Autotrail but always been like that and seem to do the job. Your 100w panel once regulated at best would push maybe 5amps at 12v. I just found this chart that's quite handy.
