A race is on or should I say a quick question to see who answers this first or even second,

I will be looking to change my MH over the next year and a bit; now this could be sooner than later it just depends if the right deal comes round the corner. I’ve obviously started looking in earnest.

I’m hoping to get an A class perhaps a Dethleffs or a Hymer; I’ve been looking at a few of these and noticed the ones I’ve seen don’t have Remis window blinds on them. I’ve Googled for Remis blinds for an A class MH but come up blank; are different blinds available for A class MH’s or do people use those internal silver screens I’ve seen.

Best Wishes Tony

The Remis windscreen blinds are crappy bits of tissue paper I wouldn’t have them given, seen loads crumpled and ripped and knackered.

I like windscreen curtains you can take them down, wash or dry clean and there’s nothing to go wrong.

I must say I have Remis blinds on my MH at the moment and I quite like them; but yes you are correct they are delicate and have to be handled as such. Thanks for your input.

I have a Hymer A class which has fitted blinds which are certainly not crap paper ones.
Previous MH had curtains and a silver screen. The blinds I now have are far superior to either.
Did see on here someone mentioned a B544 for sale.

Our last Hymer had concertina fabric blinds across the screen insulating curtains on the cab side windows.
Our current Hymer has an electric insulated aluminium blind on the screen and the fabric concentina blinds on the cab side windows.
Both far superior to Remis blinds, Carthago use blinds similar to Remis ones on the cab side windows.

New concept

I’ve got something similar to Remis blinds in the Rapido (concertina blinds, no idea of the make though), external silver screens if it gets really cold though.
