Where would you go?
Difficult to choose but we loved Salzburg and Croatia. Not been to Greece in the moho yet but loved it when doing package tours.
Wish I hadn't posted this because I keep thinking of other interesting/beautiful places I'd go to again and new ones that we want to visit. I'll stick with my first thoughts for now.

Sardinia { Crystal Clear Tyrrhenian Sea }
The fish swim up to and around you.
Lovely Food, friendly People, Hot Weather.
What's not to like.
Easy Jet are meant to be taking Me there later this year.
Think positive.
Easy Jet WILL be taking Me there later this year.
Sicily is the lower Island, Sardinia in the middle and Corsica { French Island is the highest Island }

Somewhere I have always fancied going to, maybe next year.

Germany, up the north towards Denmark. Eckernforde would be fine.

Turiscampo Portugal , not for the stunning coastal scenery but for the brilliant laughs and friendships we made when we where there . How I miss that but I guess my liver doesn’t ???

Hi.
Pure nostalgia. Back to 1980, In a field with a tap in the corner, 3 vans only, park anywhere, at Mr and Mrs Evans. 3 Mawfor Mawr ?? Llanbeder, just above Barmouth. We could not have been treated better had we tried,Mrs Evans and her son John took us up and over the "Roman steps".Of an afternoon,if we were in,we would be invited into the house for a cup of tea and cake, evenings if we were about,i used to go up the fields with the dog and help " Roland" ( Mr Evans ) check and count his Welsh Black cattle, Robin, who lived at number 2,trying to teach our B/Collie puppy " Wilf the Wolf " how to be a sheepdog. He was brave enough, but had only just started to "Come " when called.:unsure: ) Views of Snowdon, season ticket onto Shell Island for a f/night to park/swim, rock pool and use of facilities.Air displays RAF Llanbedr ? just down the lane small special site?. DH110/Canbera various small RAF jets doing cicuits Trips out around the bay, fish and chips ?.......... Porthmadog near the ex services club, far end of car park ?
Took the g/son some years later,"Cup of tea and some cake ?" We all went across,g/son fell asleep on the settee, when it came time to leave, mrs Evans said " Leave him there,i will bring him across when he wakes up"...... Later,i can still see them, coming through the gate hand in hand chatting away like old mates...... The g/son ? he is 30 at Christmas. Never were there such days...................

Beautifully written. I can see it and feel it.
Thanks.
It reminded me of a very sunny weekend at a campsite at Eskdale (before it became the C&CC site),
We were tenting and had friends with their young daughters with us.
It was truly a 'Famous Five' weekend culminating with a trip to Ravensglass in an open carriage on the 'Li'l Ratty'.

And thanks to everyone else. Some lovely memories.
Steph

My choice to be teleported at the moment would be to the isand of Patmos, Greece. It is one of my favourites at any time, but it has another benefit at the moment as there is not one case of Covid-19 on the island.

However, I do not know if teleporting gets round the restriction that only residents can land there.

I'm with you and NZ comes a very close second.

Croatia, we were meant to be setting off this afternoon, for the lunchtime tomorrow tunnel. We can dream xx

i'd be quite happy to be teleported down to dorset, have very fond and happy memories of the meets down at bagwell and norden farm, personally i love our countryside and coasts..

Canada, I won’t fly, but MH teleported I would manage. We may go by boat at sometime but not while Casper is still up and running.

Patagonia :) Might as well make good use of all the energy needed for teleportation .

Armacao de Pera
no Oliva
no make that Alvor
or just anywhere by the coast with good walks, the sea and good company. Sutton on sea might just fit the bill

We loved Patmos when we were there island hopping 15 years ago, Not many tourists apart from those who got off the cruise ships walked up to the monastery and then got back on the ships.
Very quiet and unspoiled.
Not far from the harbour we found an Indonesian Restaurant run by a lady whose grandmother was Indonesian. Had a lovely and very unexpected meal there. We love Greek food but this was areal treat.

Was that what it was called or are you telling us something even more interesting?
He apparently signed a bill to begin mining on the moon....... I can't find an emoji suitable to express the humour in his statement.
