We have some previous commitments in September so can't hop over the Channel (like many will be) so looking for affordable camping options for then as looks like rallies (even with other clubs although we aren't in any others yet!) are thin on the ground presumably due to the mass migration to France & beyond. Areas currently being considered are Shrewsbury (Showground not available for early September), Cornwall, Devon & maybe Dorset too - anyone know of any deals, meets or rallies or just fairly priced campsites for these or other areas?

We have three rallies in September. Two Warner's Shows at Shepton and Lincoln with the Henham Steam Rally in between. The latter not yet in the rally list. Probably a Britastop or A CL or two between.

What do you call 'fairly priced' ....10 or 25 quid a night?
Early september is still 'mid season' rates for most commercial sites in cornwall

We are going on two rallies with Camping and Caravan Club in Cornwall. Both DA meets. One is at Porth Beach. Campsite opposite beach. DA price £16 a night (electric included) instead of £39 a night. The other one is at Hendra Holiday Park Newquay £12.50 a night.

Well worth looking at what DA meets are going on if you are a member of the CCC.
