Hello,,, how are you?? I havnt given up the building work, due to the amount of offers I am getting!

lovely to be thought about, not much going on with me, working, and trying generally to stay alive !!!

not been really looking for much in life, just plodding from day to day, wondering if we will ever return to a normal life,, or life as I knew it !!!

I really hope your all well, and busy with your vans and travels,, I will post a longer catch up as soon as I have organised my thoughts, work etc! I love you all ! Xxxxx

Right ok,,, here we go!!!

the lady/ woman upstairs ( who allegedly suffers from anxiety and depression). And the couple that live under her, are in a huge dispute, I don’t know much but I know now, that the police are involved and asked me for a statement re her! I could only tell them what I’ve seen and heard her do, and all that really is, is her slamming the outside door, to the point of breaking it, continually shouting abuse on her phone, while standing outside both his and my door, ( we are opposite)
But she has accused him of hitting her ( he was at work at the alleged time) she has a camera continuously recording his car, and every move he makes when outside,, and all sorts of claims are being thrown from both sides,,

I don’t have any experience or knowledge of any of it because like my other neighbour ( who lives above me) I am always out at work when these things happen! I’m a bit gutted that the karma in the flats that was abundant when we moved in has flown out the window, but such is life,, I suppose that there’s none so strange as folk!!

I have put my flat on the house exchange website and have had quite a few offers of a swap, but none yet that have been of any interest to me! I don’t want to go too far, and if I was to swap I would want a bigger place, with maybe a driveway and or garage! And some of the offers I’ve had are nice/ ish properties, but places where I wouldn’t want to go, London, Scotland, Essex, etc I’m ok living here, and for the most part I’m happy,, and as long as I’m working I’m very happy!

I’ve had a few dramas with my elbow and knee joints, but I have just been given a course of tablets, from the virtual doctor, that seem to be helping, so that’s good, I asked her to just prolong my working abilities for another 5/6 years, so maybe I can get somewhere, and now I’m hopeful!!

I do feel though that over the past year or so, all I’ve been doing is treading water,, like most I think, but I really do need to make a concerted effort to improve my finances etc,, Hopefully work will keep coming and I can maybe expand into making some decent money!
My lifestyle isn’t overly expensive or lavish, so if I could earn maybe 25/35,000 a year for 4/5 years I could save a decent amount of that,, I will never stop working, I just have to work a bit smarter than harder, maybe put my trust in a few other people, which I always find hard, after being let down so much! BUT WE SHALL SEE!! lol

All in all though, on the whole, I count my blessings every day, especially the call I got for this place, the funster and his wife that put Helga on Facebook, which led to the first caller being her new owner, the generosity of all you funsters when I needed help, and the support I felt verbally from here, although I didn’t realise how helpful it was until I reflect ( on a regular basis) about it!!

so all in all,, there’s lots I still want to do, places I still want to go, people I still want to meet, and life I still want to live!

Now for romance!!!!!

That about sums it up,, never in the course of human history has a man suffered the lack of human contact more than me,,, it’s been years ( or seems like it). But again, I’m hopeful that I can resort back to wooing a beautiful creature in the ( hopefully ) not too distant future!

I was in Sainsbury’s the other day, and the eyes of who I thought was a stunning looking woman smiled at me in the dairy isle,, hello I said,,, sorry she said I’ve got wind!!! These Flipping masks are a nightmare,, I thought she smiled but she farted or burped!! Oh well,,,, onwards and upwards!!!!!!

That last bit made me 🤣🤣🤣!

Shame about the problems with the flats. It seemed such a nice place when you first moved in. Don't blame you putting in for an exchange although it often takes a long time to find somewhere suitable so good luck finding someone to swap with.

Anyway it's good to hear from you. Keep us all updated.

I seriously recommend that you order yourself some tablets with “Glucosamine and Chrondoitine”.
It is NOT a drug, but substances our bodies already produce, but not in sufficient quantities to cope with the wear and tear on joints as we age.
This is NOT quackery but a proven fact. !!
I have been on them for about 25 years to alleviate damage done by 25yr in the Military and 40+ years Badminton.
I have occasionally run out on holiday etc and the reaction is massive.
They WORK !!

“Healthspan” to get them from online or places like “Holland and Barret”.

Van still under a cover but getting VERY twitchy now, so off somewhere soon, even ( if it’s a pub car park ).

Well what a morning that was,,, I shall explain !!

bloke on this estate ( posh 5 bed house) asked me to put a viewing hatch in his garage cieling,, I agreed and cut out the hole,,, I then went to B@Q for a bit of board for said hatch, in car park of B@Q I was accosted by a man of retirement age, that had been let down by a builder,, today he was supposed to start and he rang him and said he could no longer do it, due to other work commitments!! Am I available to build a 6x4 mtre extension in about four weeks,, I followed him to his house, we had a chat and a look, showed him my FB page, suitably impressed he offered me the job at an agreed labour weekly rate, he is project managing and buying all materials, and I start in about 4/5 weeks when I’ve started and finished the one I have in Dereham! Great morning, very productive,,, Oh yes, also got paid for the loft hatch and a tenner drink! Lol. I love my life today!! Xxxxxx

We've been missing our building threads so have had to make do with the Northernraider rusty bus. :LOL:

Ok well I do have an update,, but it’s not particularly nice!!

on Friday tge police questioned the woman upstairs, and as a retaliation it seems,,, she rang the social services this morning, and told them that Steve was fired from his job at the prison Svce for abusing and sexually assaulting the women prisoners!! Also telling them that he has been hitting and abusing his kids! His ex wife rang him this morning to tell him she had been contacted by social services and she was in tears, this is when Steve found out! He was so livid he was crying in my front room! Just after I got back from doing that hatch he knocked on my door shaking and crying! He does suffer from high blood pressure and I thought he was gonna pass out! I havnt heard anything else yet ,,, but I fear this is not the last of it! How do you defend yourself against allegations lie that he kept saying! I couldn’t help him but make him a brew and listen! I felt terrible for him!
You must bear in mind that she, the nasty bitch upstairs has just been released from a 3 yr prison sentence herself for grooming a mentally deficient man online from Facebook, going to his flat with 2 men and robbing him of all flat contents and bank cards etc! So she’s a nasty piece of work!!

where will it end!

She will get her cum uppence, obviously a nasty piece of work. With any luck she might find herself enjoying a less than pleasant stay somewhere at her majesty's pleasire.
Good neighbours are a pleasure and a blessing but the other sort are an abomination!.
That was very judgemental on my part, may be she suffers mental problems but I am not generous hearted enough to have any sympathy for her.
Take care of yourself Ian, I hope tbe work keeps coming. Keep company of the good and caring folk, steer clear of those spreading lies, misery and despondency.
Keep posting, we all miss you.

Yes sue, she had 4,, plus two rabbits were not allowed pets but she kicked up such a fuss that they helped her anxiety and depression ( that she says she has) it seems the louder you shout the more you get here! Her flat is now a shit tip, stinks of cat piss, ( ammonia) that sometimes creeps into the hall,, She has ruined a lovely property within a year!

now I’m not going to defend her here, but I do think that the housing association are a bit to blame, and the reason is this,,, she arrived here after we all moved in, and she has always been going on about her problems and abuse at the hands of men, which are to blame for her state of mind,( she says). So why did the housing association seem it right to put her in a block of 4 flats with 3 single men????

seems strange to me!
 
What ever happened to that foreign lady that you were friendly with? I believe she also had her mother with her - I have clearly lost a lot here!

We know of a woman in France, she is very French, she hurled abuse at the English neighbours opposite her but she also upsets all the other neighbours who are French. She photographs us and our MH whenever we turn up and hurled abuse at us.
There was a court case the other month and the Judge actually said she is mad!
We all call her the Parisian Bitch-she used to live in Paris.
Stay safe Ian and stay away from her!

hi m,,ok Vilma, I still see her now and again, she has been working for 3 days a week now, in Norwich, hotel work and really likes it,, she’s having a weekly driving lesson and the kids and mum are all doing well,, don’t have to take her shopping anymore, so I only see them out now and again, but all is good!
