Hi Linda,

I heard a rumour the other day that you had changed your handle!

We were very close to changing the Winnie but decided that we will keep it and use it this year as much as possible. Going to get the trailer in March/April from:

£995 for a small single axle. Seems good value to me and not much more than a good A Frame. As Libby is a classic I want to keep her from clocking up too many miles or wearing any bits out. Unlike a modern car things will always go wrong, so fewer miles as arranged with classic car insurance make sense.

Regards

Chris

Cracking little trailer Chris....looks just the job

Glad to hear you have decided to hang on to the Winnie for a while longer, you know it makes sense :winky: :roflmto:

I hope we will see you again soon, perhaps at one of the shows or meets......yes, the "we don't do camping" Calverts have been bitten by the meets bug and have attended two so far - not towed a car to one yet but watch this space! :ROFLMAO:

Hi Geo
I get my spares in france very cheap but apart from oil filters and a spare drive belt
there not much more you need, would like to pick up oil filters in the uk but I have tried, that one on ebay would make a good go kart or beach buggy

My Kia is only 3 years old and is only used as a toad (never used at home at all:RollEyes:)

I am looking around to buy something cheaper for about a grand and get a few thousand back out of her.

Looking actively now looking for peogeot 306/seat ibiza/escort estate/astra estate/corsa/feista.

Hi Linda,

If the weather holds for the weekend then we are off to the New Forest. Claire says I cannot take Eleanor out of school Friday lunchtime but I will do my best! Unfortunately as we are next door to the school I cannot make any excuses as they will see us drive off in Winnie :Eeek:

Hi Paul,

Really putting a lot of effort in looking after Libby. She was built by a friend who is an engineer, for himself then he moved so I got the option! Just before Christmas I bought a Carcoon:

Keeps her dry and means I can keep the roof down all the time. Basically it re-circulates the air and dries every bit. In an old car moisture is obviously a problem.

Chris
