Hi...... has anyone any knowledge of the cheapest way to get to the Isle of Wight, we have just looked and its just short of £200 return....... its nowhere near that to France. I have heard of some sites giving a discount/ free ferry....... anyone have any more info.

Yes. Contact your site if you have one. They get discounts.
We had the same thoughts about 7 days there, but add the ferry costs to a site and it’s expensive per night.

Worth a read if you haven't seen it.

Red Funnel ferries often have deals where the crossing & 5 nights on a site often works cheaper than the crossing.

When I went across last July Red Funnel ferry prices were about 60% dearer than Wightlink and so we did a package with the CAMC site.

Apparently per mile it is the most expensive crossing in the world!
I prefer to go as a foot passenger and then come home for a kip it works out cheaper ;)

Go as foot passenger using Tesco vouchers cheap as chips. Have been to IOW twice not impressed
