We made itCan i ask where you got the table top from ?
I can't honestly answer that until we get the van but we might pop by yours if your still at home since youve the experience and all the kit there to make it a decent mount. How will the table upright support be fitted into the van?
I'm asking cause that's the table I put into my self build.. one of the few things I didn't get right first time round was underestimating the support it needed..
Andy..
It was a balancing act as its not screwed on underneath. Bottle was only for show. I have a syphoning system that goes right into my mouth. That's a rubbish table ,if that's the size of wine bottle it can support..
The plate that came with mine was up to the job but I had to go really go ott to mount the plate....the first attempt bolting it on to steel bar which in turn was bolted into the metal strengthners on a panel van resulted in the support metal just tearing... in the end it was 6mm steel plate that in turn was supported by a substantial seat frame which was bolted through the floor..It does come with a mounting plate but perhaps not as substantial as it should be.
It definitely wont be going on a side wall for sure as there is a boxed in area for pipes in front of side wall. i was thinking maybe on the pillar where has meets cab.The plate that came with mine was up to the job but I had to go really go ott to mount the plate....the first attempt bolting it on to steel bar which in turn was bolted into the metal strengthners on a panel van resulted in the support metal just tearing... in the end it was 6mm steel plate that in turn was supported by a substantial seat frame which was bolted through the floor..
I cant see the side walls of a coach built mh been substantial enough to mount the plate...just saying..
Andy
No fresh water tank, just wine.It was a balancing act as its not screwed on underneath. Bottle was only for show. I have a syphoning system that goes right into my mouth.![]()
Naw, naw, naw. Typical woman's reaction ... There is a rather famous man, who pioneered mobile travel some 2000 years ago, and he advocated a large water tank; so that he could turn it into wine ... Toying with renaming Brunhilde 'Van Rouge' ...No fresh water tank, just wine.![]()
